Ok, let's study... DEFINITION OF PRAGMATICS: Globally Pragmatics is the branch of linguistics concerned with meaning in context, or the meanings of sentences in terms of the speaker's intention in using them. According to expert Pragmatics definition of Pragmatics is: Hence (1993: 42) definition of pragmatics is the study of the condition of human language uses as these are determined bu the context of society. Leech ( 1983: 6) states that pragmatics is the study of meaning in relation to speech situation. Syntax Syntax is the grammatical structure of words and phrases to create a sentencs. In other word, syntax is a set of rules that fovern the structure of language. So, the function we learn syntax so we can now to arrange the wors into sentetence that make sense. Look this example below :
